Sound Design and 3D Audio Tools

This project was financed by the Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio, Chile, and consists of a set of immersive audio and video recordings of various locations from the Región de Los Ríos in the south of Chile.

The audio recordings available are in binaural, ambisonic (type A and B Ambix) and Dolby Atmos formats. There is also a set of virtual instrument formats containing these recordings (Kontakt 7.2, Decent Sampler and Soundpaint). The 360 videos are a reference guide of the locations where the audio was recorded. The videos and audios within the virtual instruments are 60 seconds long but the downloadable audio files are 4 minutes in length.

There is also a first virtual instrument, Simple Strummer, a simple but effective acoustic guitar resource for adding natural recordings in your songs or projects. The chords have been recorded with a binaural microphone as well as a spaced pair.

All of these files are available to download and be used within your own projects free of charge.

I hope you are able to enjoy, even if for a minute, the natural surroundings and are able to appreciate the natural beauty of this part of the world. For more information about the city of Valdivia and this beautiful region, you can go to: https://regionesdechile.cl/region-de-los-rios/
